In celebrating the Faculty of Health Sciences centenary, UCT's Students' Representative Council and the Health Sciences Students Council hosted a talk by Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi in April. Motsoaledi spoke on the challenges facing the South African healthcare system and outlined possible solutions, including the proposed National Health Insurance plan.
