Almost a year after the UCT campus was cleared out and shut down due to COVID-19 restrictions, the university came to life again as first-year students stepped in for the beginning of a journey that will see them study at Africa’s highest ranking university.
With all COVID-19 protocols observed, UCT’s First-Year Campus Reception programme allowed for a one-stop facility where students could register and be issued with student cards and laptops.
