The University of Cape Town (UCT) honoured and celebrated exceptional individuals at the 2022 Annual Awards on Wednesday, 30 November 2022.
Hosted by UCT Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng, the UCT Annual Awards acknowledges staff members’ contributions through excellence, research, teaching and service to the university community. Awards bestowed on individuals include the: Long Service Awards, Alan Pifer Research Awards, Distinguished Teacher Award and the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence. The evening also recognised those staff members who have received ad hominem promotions this year.
