21 June 2024 | Video AXA Research Fund, University of Cape Town.

Lara Dugas, the AXA Chair in Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology from Loyola University in Chicago, hosted at the University of Cape Town (UCT), reveals how Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as obesity and type 2 diabetes are impacting low- and middle-income countries, with 70% of the population being overweight or obese in these regions.
