UCT Staff Awards: Celebrating excellence and dedication

The event recognised the invaluable contributions of educators who shape future generations and honoured researchers who push the boundaries of knowledge, highlighting the university's commitment to excellence.
The evening also paid tribute to individuals whose work extends beyond UCT, influencing national and international policies. Additionally, it celebrated staff members who played pivotal roles in major initiatives. Long-service awards recognised those with decades of unwavering dedication, some spanning over 45 years, reflecting the lasting impact of their contributions.
The ceremony emphasised UCT’s commitment to global citizenship and its pursuit of transformative education and research.
