It's here! This week sees the return of the celebrated Wellness Week, organised by the Organisational Health Department in the Graduate School for Humanities quad from Wednesday to Friday, April 13 to 15, from 11h00 to 15h00. But don't forget to book as reservations close on Tuesday, April 12, at noon sharp. Contact Ottoline Clapham on e-mail oclapham@bremner.uct.ac.za. After that it's up to you to make bookings with the exhibitors once they have set up. Bookings are important for the Body IQ assessment and lung function test, courtesy of the UCT Lung Institute, and for the sought-after reflexology and therapeutic massage sessions.
There are one or two new exhibitors. Mid-life crisis? A new car - even a new second hand car - may be just what you need (sorry, no red Ferraris on a UCT salary).
Visit the Barons stand where you can finance new wheels at special rates for UCT staff. They also offer fleet discounts. An unusual counselling service will also advertise its services. Broken Bread Ministries offers 24-hour counselling via their Help-U Line. The counselling method encourages users to employ their natural strengths to work through their personal problems.
Please note that the dietician will be available only on Friday April 15. See you there!
