The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Division of Family Medicine will host the General Practitioners 2019 conference from 14 to 18 January at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa in Newlands.

This year’s conference will focus on nutrition and diet, along with geriatrics, with the schedule of presentations addressing the very topical issues of diet and weight loss, as well as the various increasing health problems faced by older people.

Sessions start daily at 08:30 and run until 16:00, except for the final day on 18 January when sessions end at 13:00.
