Join the upcoming d-school Afrika Open Day

The Open Day will feature innovation, entrepreneurial collaboration, and will prove to be tons of fun.

Delve into the world of creative problem-solving, innovation and design thinking on Wednesday, 24 July, at the Hasso-Plattner Institute (HPI) d-school building. The d-school Afrika Day promises a mix of interactive and informative events for students and alumni alike.

The Open Day will run from 12:00 to 17:00 and students can meet the design thinking coaches and staff, as well as participate in fun activities, including a design-thinking Amazing Race and other games.

From 17:00 to 18:00, you’re invited to mingle with peers at the Student and Alumni Mixer ahead of the evening’s events.

The evening features two parallel events: a TikTok Trivia Quiz Night from 18:00 to 20:00 for university students to debate hot topics, and an Alumni Gathering from 18:00 to 21:00 for our alumni community to reconnect.
