Global multi-asset broker Exness and the University of Cape Town (UCT) have teamed up yet again to provide academically deserving students with an opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies at UCT.

The Exness Fintech Scholarship has been designed to nurture academic excellence among talented students from under-resourced communities and to help develop and empower the next generation of leaders in science, technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields in the country. So, for a third consecutive year, and depending on the list of applicants, Exness will cherry pick students for this golden opportunity.

What applicants need to know

Scholarship recipients will receive comprehensive financial assistance that covers tuition fees in full, as well as living expenses, either in part or completely, depending on recipients’ financial needs. To make the cut, students should hold an existing offer of acceptance to study computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), financial engineering and distributed ledger technology at UCT and must maintain a grade point average of 70%.

Exness uses both technology and ethics to create favourable markets for traders and raise the industry benchmark. What’s cool, the Exness Fintech Scholarship is the first of its kind offered at university level by a broker. The first cohort of recipients kick-started their postgraduate study programmes at UCT in 2023.
