Mrwetyana completed his Master’s in Commerce for Risk Management of Financial Markets. This was not just an academic milestone, but a testament to perseverance, supported by the unwavering love of family and friends.
With memories from the recent Uyinene Mrwetyana Foundation’s (UMF) annual anti-SGBVF walk, he keeps his sister’s memory close, reminding himself that this moment is part of a much bigger picture.

During the Faculty of Health Sciences graduation ceremony on Tuesday, 3 September, the University of Cape Town (UCT) awarded renowned biostatistician and epidemiologist, Professor Debbie Bradshaw with an honorary doctorate in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the field locally and abroad.
